Honestly, about nights

Night work is harder than daytime, which is why good caregivers take no more than two or three nights a week. Covering all seven usually means two people alternating: more expensive, but nobody burns out and leaves after a month.

Questions

Does the caregiver sleep at night?
It depends on your parent. If they sleep through and only supervision is needed, the worker can rest between wake-ups. If the nights are broken, it is a full shift and the rate is different.
Can we book Shabbat only?
Yes — it is one of the most common requests.
