Accessibility statement

This is a draft. It is a working starting point and does not replace legal advice. Before you run ads, have an Israeli lawyer review it and replace every placeholder in square brackets with real company details. Israeli law additionally requires the statement to name the accessibility officer with contact details and the date of the last review.

We want the site to work for everyone, including people with impairments of sight, hearing, movement and attention. Our audience is older people and their families, so accessibility is not a formality here.

Standard

The site was built against the Israeli standard 5568 and the international WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

What has been done

Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy
Every interactive element reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring
Buttons and links at least 44×44 pixels
Form fields have associated labels and errors are announced to screen readers
A consistent heading structure and a skip-to-content link on every page
Images carry text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
Animation is disabled when the system asks for reduced motion
The layout holds at 200% zoom without losing content
The Hebrew version is built as a separate RTL layout rather than a mirrored one

Known limitations

Some material supplied by partners may not fully meet the standard. We are working on it and would be glad to hear about problems.
