What the working week looks like
By law the worker is entitled to 25 consecutive hours of weekly rest and to nine paid public holidays a year. Someone has to cover that time: we arrange it separately and in advance rather than at the last minute.
Questions
Does the caregiver live in my parent's flat?
Yes, with their own sleeping space and meals. Part of the housing and food cost can be deducted from wages within statutory limits — we calculate that for you.
Can we choose the caregiver's gender?
Yes. The catalogue has a filter and we take it into account when matching. Many families choose a man for a father because of the lifting.
What if the caregiver falls ill?
They are entitled to up to 18 sick days a year. We arrange cover for that period.
