About the benefit
If your parent receives the Bituach Leumi long-term care benefit, some of these hours may be covered as services. We will help you work out whether services or cash is better value in your case.
Questions
How many hours do families usually take?
Most often 12–20 a week: three or four hours across five days. The morning slot — getting up, shower, breakfast, medication — is the most common.
Can we start with two days a week?
Yes, and it is sensible: see how the relationship works, then add hours.
